Strata draws inspiration from the incredible biomechanics of the mantis shrimp. The shrimp’s clubs can accelerate as fast as a .22 caliber bullet and must withstand immense impact forces. They achieve this through bicorrugated microstructures that absorb shock while maintaining strength.

Using this same principle, Strata incorporates a bicorrugated design with dual-density foam to enhance both impact protection and proprioception.
