Hi there!

I’m Lauren

I’m a sports product designer with a background in mechanical engineering—

and an endless love for being outside.

For me, design is about more than just making gear—it’s about creating inclusive, functional products that enable everyone to enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. I love tackling complex problems that merge technical innovation with design.

My background

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, before moving to Salt Lake City. Both of these incredible places nurtured my love for the outdoors. I grew up ski racing before discovering climbing — and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Climbing is at the center of my life outside of design. I love the community it builds, the problem-solving it demands, and the sense of adventure it brings.

Currently, I’m based in NE Portland, where I’m finishing my Master of Science in Sports Product Design.
